I should have just stayed in bed!

Yesterday...

8:30 am *FLu - sh* "MOMMY!!, somethings wrong with the toilet!" What the...? We have No water! (That was until 3:00 pm!) Hmmm....I didn't seem to get that MEMO from the town! By God you owe them a dime and they'll hand deliver a bill by that afternoon, and yet can't even give a little warning about a water outage! Nothing like a little warning people!

9:00 am (What I was thinking) That's weird, No email? Yesterday evening there was no mail and none this morning. Just that same old unopened spam letter on top! Is my email connection out too? Usually, it's flooded with mail. 10:00 am Ah- dur I felt stupid when I realized I wasn't looking at my Inbox , it was the Deleted Folder! Someone , I'm not naming names! (JASON!!) While looking through the trash folder (Why, I don't know?) left the mailbox on deleted items, And had also turned off the sound!

5:30pm Just before sitting down to eat...

Jason: "Did you go up to the garden today?"
Me: "Yeah that's where I got the lettuce for tonight."
Jason: *Laughing hysterically*
Me: "What's so funny?"
Jason: "Tell me you didn't pick the lettuce?" *laughing*
Me:"Yes, I picked the lettuce, it's right here , Why?! What's the matter with you?"
Jason: *laughing* "How much did you pick?"
Me:"All of it , WHY?!"
Jason:* shaking his head * "Oh Sweetheart! You ruined the lettuce, it wasn't ready!"
Me:"Shut-up!...What do you mean, I ruined it? Look leaf lettuce, SEE!"
Jason:"We bought Ice- burg Head lettuce, it comes up in heads." *laughing*
Me: "What? Are you kidding me?"
Jason: "Now we'll have to plant it all over again!" *laughing* "Oh, I LOVE YOU! " (a few minutes later) "I Bet you won't put this on your blog!" *laughing*

*wink* Just for you honey! ( Even though I still think it's leaf lettuce!)

I'm just hoping today's a Better day!

To Mamaw's house we go..

This morning my mom called as usual pressuring me to come over with the kids. So, with the girls on spring break this week, I decided we go over and spend the day. Before getting off the phone as usual she says , "Hurry over , but don't rush!".With all my usual house work to get done and getting ready for the day, it turned out to be 11:30 by the time I could get out the door. Which, I thought was doing pretty good considering all I had to do. Needing diapers and a few things we ran by the grocery store. As always the grocery store was a real treat. Today we entered the door and saw a sign posted about Heely's. "No Roller shoes in store!". Needless to say Madisen wasn't the least bit happy, seeing how she was wearing hers.
"Why can't we use are Heely's here?"
"Why are they not allowed?"
"It's not fair we can't roll!"
"What if we accidentally roll?"
"What if we slip while were walking and roll?"
"If they kick us out, does that mean we Never have to come back?" (She'd like that!)
"Why don't they like Heelys?"
"Mommy, she's wearing Heelys!"
"Mommy, I just seen a girl wearing Heelys!!"
"What if she rolls?"
"Why can't I roll?"...Through the WHOLE STORE!
By the time I arrived at my mom's it was 1:00. The kids jump out of the car screaming and playing. I'm lugging Jacob, and loaded down with baggage. There stands my mom hands on her hips complaining as to what took so long. Gee, I don't know I only had to pack everything but my kitchen sink just to come. Had I been in her shoes, I probably would have ran back inside and locked my doors at the site of of us coming.
Without any influence, she ended up keeping the girls for the night. ( I know.. can you believe it? She's great!) so whoo-hoo a night off. (not really) I've been home 2 hours and they've called 3 times, and Just my luck, Jacob has started running a fever.

Clepto son

Today my little clepto maniac son got his little fingers down in my purse and found my phone. I really wouldn't care for him to play with it, but it's been broke. Well I should say it was half broke, Now it is completely broke. The top of my flip phone has been hanging on by one side for months. It's made for using it a real hassle. Trying to hold it together while talking. Funds have been short so I have just dealt with it. Today I came in with a arms loaded, groceries, Jacob and my purse. Somewhere in the process of making it through the door to the playpen, he snuck out my phone. Next thing I know he's holding only the bottom half of my phone, grinning from ear to ear. Yes, he's precious! It is unrepairable, and now I'm wishing I hadn't been such a tight wod and bought the lousy $5 a month insurance on it. At least the bottom half still works to call out. Unfortunately I will have no idea who I'm calling and the fact that I can't hear anything isn't good either. I guess in case of an emergency I will just dial out wait hopefully long enough for someone to answer on the other end and just start talking, hoping anyone can hear me! That plus the fact Jacob has been fussy all day, I was drenched in the rain and I can see my blog pictures aren't showing, it's been a Great day! (I say that with a fake smile) :)
