Bald to Beautiful

None of my kids were born with gobs of hair. Kailey had the most but even so it wasn't that thick luscious baby hair, I so wanted her to have.

Madisen and Jacob were born with that very thin barely visible blonde hair, on the verge of being plain out bald. About the only time you could see it was when it was wet.I had to tape bows in Madisen's hair just to get them to stay.

Now that Jacob finally has enough to see and brush, being the proud momma that I am I'm dying to show it off...
Here's his I'm a cool punk dude look..

Mom your embarrassing me, Enough pictures already!

~Grease lighting~

And just plain out wrong...

Bribery is a wonderful thing! I think I'll save this to blackmail him when he's older.

  32. My daughter didn't get hair or teeth until she was 16 months old. In her first birthday picture she was as bald as the day she was born. She's now 12 and with a beautiful head of hair, oh yes and teeth too. We used to love touching her head, it felt just like suede.

I had a full head of black hair when I was born, but it all fell out within months and grew in the lightest blond ever!

  38. My first two children were born to me - the skimpy hair variety. I was always a bit envious of the babies with hair. Then we adopted our third. The agency described him in a way that created images in my mind of an hispanic baby with a beautiful full head of hair. We were adopting across racial lines - and I just knew I was getting a baby with hair. Nope. Eric's hair was dark, but just as skimpy as his siblings. Oh well - they sure were all sweeties.

  40. My son, Tristan, still has that transparent blond hair. I put his in a faux hawk sometimes, too. His hair will probably eventually turn white or golden and have tons of curls. I can't wait.
