Friday's Foto Fiesta

I remember this day like it was yesterday. It was Christmas day and Madisen was about 4 or 5yr old. She had received that wing set as a present and was so thrilled running around saying "Abra kadabra..!" (to everyone! Notice , the headband is backwards.) Ever since Madisen was a baby she has always been two steps behind Kailey trying to do everything she does. (She was never a baby. She started walking at 10 months, just to keep up with her.) Anything that happened to Kailey of course happened to her. The day of this picture, she was stuck on the fact that Kailey had already lost a tooth. So, she went all around the house telling everyone she had lost a tooth. Everyone played along asking her where and how. Of course she pointed to a tooth that was still there and went on to tell all about it. Each time the story got bigger and longer of course using herself in it instead of Kailey. It was just too cute!

  1. That picture is just adorable! Amazing how one glimpse of a photograph can bring such total recall.

I think all girls start out wearing the headbands upside down and backwards out, except us!

Thank you so much for playing along!

  2. So cute! Shay is just 17 months younger than Ayla, so she is always trying to keep up too. I just realized yesterday that I taught Ayla how to draw a stick person just 2 months ago and Shay can do it too already. I don't know if I taught Ayla really late or if Shay is just really early to do things because of trying to keep up with her big sis!

Lucky for you to get a photo of that great memory. I wish I took more pictures. I'm not too good at that.

Thanks for your compliment on the new outfit I did!

  6. That little girl is going to be a model. Look, she's already got the innocent look and the seductive "finger on the bottom lip" pose.
